Hi there— I’m Ari Shapiro, and I’m so very excited that you’re here. Hailing from Milwaukee, WI, I graduated (with honors!) from Northwestern University, where I double majored in Political Science and Theatre. After a year in Louisville post-grad, I found my way to New York, where I started my tutoring career in 2016 and never looked back.

I’ve worked with such test prep companies as Kaplan, Bee Tutored, TestTakers, and A-List Tutoring. But in 2019, I branched out on my own to start Ari Shapiro Tutoring and begin my path as a freelancer.

Outside of tutoring, I recently completed my MFA in Film from Columbia University. Other accolades include serving as Student Council President in high school, as well as captaining my coed Sunday pickup soccer team.
